The Mike Lindell-ish fantasies of Nigerian Labor Party fans hoping to see All Progressives Congress Party President Bola Tinubu removed from office and losing 2023 election candidate Peter Obi installed were snuffed out with a MyPillow Wednesday by a special presidential tribunal convened to examine allegations of fraud and a US criminal record for Tinubu, the Guradian Nigeria reports.
“According to Section 137 of the constitution, Bola Tinubu is not disqualified from contesting the presidential poll,” ruled Nigerian Supreme Court Justice Haruna Tsammani, also finding that the allegations that Tinubu had a criminal record for drug trafficking in the US was bullshit. The tribunal’s proceedings did not include any allegations that Twitter suppressed stories about Tinubu’s son’s laptop or that too many people were allowed to vote by mail. Those might’ve worked.
