And yeah, he included the above pic of the actual “trophy.” We seem to remember back in the very earliest years of Trump’s reign over the GOP that “participation trophy” was a right wing meme mocking liberals for coddling losers and making everyone feel special. Kind of aged poorly considering this and certain other incidents of contrived, default accolades to the fat bastard.
Anyway the original point of this very stupid Trump post was to continue screaming about the civil fraud trial in Manhattan which is really, really not going great for Donald. His former CFO Allen Weaselberg Weisselberg appears to have legitimately committed perjury on the stand during his testimony on Wednesday, the New York AG’s counsel questioning him appears to have obtained Weisselberg’s compensation agreement which literally says he has to commit perjury if questioned, and that former Trump Org Controller Jeff McConney told the court that he’s “not an expert on real estate values,” even though that was pretty much McConney’s actual job description.
Donald himself will head back to sit in for the trial on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week, just when former fixer Michael Cohen will testify, per the Messenger’s Adam Klasfeld.
