A member of the rightwing, white nationalist group the Proud Boys has been arrested in Portland on multiple charges after pointing a weapon at protestors, KGW NBC-8 reports.
Fifty-year-old Alan Swinney is accused of firing a paintball gun at and spraying mace a crowd of anti-police abuse protesters in an apparent effort to spur a fight during an August protest. When a fracas started, Swinney then pulled a handgun on group, threatening them, as seen in video of the incident.
Police arrested Swinney on multiple charges of assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
