The US House on Friday squeaked past the required 2/3rds threshold to pass the bill funding the federal government until September 30th. The vote is still ongoing but the Freedom Caucasians have lost yet another battle with the “uniparty.” Whether or not they actually move forward to vacate Speaker Mike Johnson remains to be seen, but probably north of 50/50 they chicken out again.
Scratched that out from this prewrite because, as previously reported, white nationalist QAnon freak Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has filed a motion to vacate the Speakership from Johnson, even if it’s sort of technically accurate as Greene was tossed from the Freedom Caucasians last year. Democrats better bring out their carving knives to get their pound of flesh.
