The State Department has revoked the travel visa of Rudy Giuliani’s Ukrainian political colleague Andrii Telizhenko, who aided Giuliani in his efforts to find incriminating evidence against Donald Trump’s presidential campaign opponent, Joe Biden, the Washington Post reports.
Telizhenko’s visa was yanked about a month ago, but was just reported now. Telizhenko attempted to fly from Kyiv to New York September 9th, but was prevented from boarding the flight because he did not have a visa.
Telizhenko is the second Ukrainian associate of Giuliani to have sanctions leveled against him. Also last month, Andriy Derkach was identified as an “active Russian agent for over a decade” by the Treasury Department.
Giuliani and his cohorts attempted to create a story about unethical or illegal behavior by Biden in Ukraine. President Trump was impeached for attempting to leverage US aid to Ukraine for help with his campaign in a phone call with Ukraine’s president.
