The White House had technicians in full-body PPE and with respirators spray disinfectant throughout the Press Room after Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and two member of the White House Press Office tested positive for coronavirus.

The disinfecting came after President Trump, visibly short of breath after climbing the stairs to the Truman Balcony, returned to the White House while still likely shedding the virus.
Three White House correspondents tested positive for the coronavirus in the last week, and the White House Correspondents Association recommended that no one enter the room until it was cleaned.
Various journalists who cover the White House thanked the custodial staff for making the effort to clean and disinfect the room, according to the Washington Post.
