More than 100,000 Israelis took to the streets on Saturday night in Tel-Aviv to demand that dictator Benjamin Netanyahu accept the terms of a ceasefire deal brokered by the Biden Administration, terms that were unacceptable to the hardcore fascists crucial to the coalition that keeps “Bibi” in power and out of prison, threatening a walkout, the Washington Post reports.
The proposed agreement calls for a six-week halt in fighting, a prisoner-hostage exchange to recover the hundreds of Israelis still being held in captivity since the October 7th attack, and a serious increase in the humanitarian aid flowing into Gaza. All of which threaten to prompt the extremists to withdraw from the coalition, triggering snap elections that would be rough for “Bibi.”
