A New Jersey woman’s car is wrecked and she’s the one facing driving while intoxicated and other charges after another driver didn’t hit the brakes in time to stop from plowing into her parked car on Cedar Avenue in the shore town of Long Branch on Monday night, the Asbury Park Press reports.
Granted, the other driver was a New Jersey Transit train engineer and he or she was at the switch of the 9:06 PM to Long Branch that smashed 34 year-old Long Branch resident Lisa Dorenfast’s car, but seriously just give her a parking ticket or something. She was being responsible by realizing she was too wasted to drive and pulling over. So what if it was at a railroad crossing? Her car just got all fucked up, give her a break. Maybe make her pay for a new paint job on the front of the train. Christ.
