Some Dem megadonors – mostly Hollywood types – are working the phones with Congressional Dems to try to pressure them to in turn pressure President Biden to step aside for another candidate as well as going to the media on the record to express their unease, the New York Times reports.
“If you don’t publicly call for Biden to step aside,” WME founder Tom Strickler said he told New Mexico Senator Martin Heinrich’s team last week, “you are not getting a dime from me.”
