A new study shows people who were vaccinated for coronavirus experienced a 10% lower incidence of arterial thromboses, including strokes and heart attacks, 13- to 24-weeks after receiving the first inoculation, findings directly contrary to the myths spread by vax deniers, and it gets even better from there.
Per IFL Science, the study of anonymized health data from 45.7 million adults in Britain also showed that people who got second and third boosters further reduced their risks for stroke and heart attacks when compared to the unvaccinated–and that’s on top of the protection against the coronavirus.
“We studied COVID-19 vaccines and cardiovascular disease in nearly 46 million adults in England and found a similar or lower incidence of common cardiovascular diseases, such as heart attacks and strokes, following each vaccination than before or without vaccination,” one of the co-authors said in a statement. “This research further supports the large body of evidence on the effectiveness and safety of the COVID-19 vaccination programme, which has been shown to provide protection against severe COVID-19 and saved millions of lives worldwide.”
