Ewic Trump, the middle son of Donald Trump and the youngest child of Trump’s first wife, is very angry with how his current wife, Lara, was treated during a CNN interview where she mocked Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s history of stuttering, Yahoo reports.
Lara Trump, who has no political experience but is collecting $15,000 per month from the Trump campaign, appeared on CNN’s State of the Union with Jake Tapper and claimed that Biden is showing signs of cognitive decline. The current Mrs. Trump has no experience in medicine, either.
The current Mrs. Trump claimed that watching Biden speak made her feel “uncomfortable” though she never commented about how her father-in-law’s comments stoking violence and hatred made her feel.
Tapper pushed back on the current Mrs. Trump and her mockery of Biden’s speech impediment and asked, “How do you think it makes little kids with stutters feel when they see you make a comment like this that?”
After significant cross talk, Tapper told the current Mrs. Trump, “I think you were mocking his stutter, and I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody’s cognitive decline.”
The current Mrs. Trump claimed that she had no idea about Biden’s history of stuttering, but as a senior advisor to the Trump campaign; in a normal campaign, a senior advisor not having watched the Democratic National Convention or knowing key details about the opposition’s background would be unlikely, but this is the Trump campaign, so she might not have done a stitch of work.
Ewic Trump tweeted a defense of his current wife Sunday morning.
.@LaraLeaTrump is a class act and is on 🔥🔥🔥 – @JakeTapper is so angry and smug (which is consistent with the general attitude of @CNN)
