A new SurveyUSA/WRAL poll of North Carolina voters finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump 49 to 46 percent, a marginal improvement from the 1 percent lead the same pollster found August 22nd. The gubernatorial race numbers were either not polled or – much more likely – were held for a later article to be printed separately.
Harris had a +4 favorability rating overall – with 50 percent viewing her favorably and 46 percent viewing her unfavorably. Minnesota Gov Tim Walz, had a +5 favorability rating, with 40 percent viewing him favorably, 35 percent viewing him unfavorably and the rest not having an opinion.
Trump had a negative 9 favorability rating overall – with 44 percent viewing him favorably and 53 percent viewing him unfavorably. Running mate JD Vance is 6 percent underwater, with 35 percent viewing him favorably, 41 percent viewing him unfavorably and the rest not having an opinion.
