Already stuck with two Black neighbors on one side, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin’s staff on Wednesday announced he’s not interested in adding a third. “As a member of the [Republican Governors’ Association] Executive Committee, Governor Youngkin attended an event for Mark Robinson in August and has no plans to further support his candidacy,” Youngkin’s press shop said in a statement, making it clear he only showed up to help the North Carolina Lt Gov’s gubernatorial campaign when he thought Robinson was just an antisemitic far right freak and not an antisemitic far right freak who proudly called himself a “black NAZI” and jerked off to transgender porn.
After all, Youngkin’s got a reputation to protect if he wants Axios to spend the next four years printing a lot of articles about how he’s a leading contender for the top of the 2028 GOP ticket.
