Asked at the Univision town hall to list three virtues Donald Trump has, Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris initially chuckles uncomfortably, then begins by going into the “more unites us” trope that used to be standard among politicians. She then comments that she dislikes the violent tone of Trump’s rhetoric and how he seeks to divide the nation.
“I think he, um, [pause]. I think Donald Trump loves his family and I think that’s very important,” Harris finally notes. “I think family is one of the most important things that we can prioritize. But I don’t really know him, to be honest with you. I only met him one time, on the debate stage. I’d never met him before, so I don’t have much to offer you.”
