When the new First Family take residence in the White House January 20th, the Bidens will restore yet-another tradition abdicated by the current residents: having a family dog.
The Bidens, in fact, have two: Champ and Major, both German shepherds.
12-year-old Champ is a Washington old-timer, adopted by the Bidens when President-elect Biden served as Vice President to President Barack Obama.
The Bidens adopted Major in 2018 after fostering him for the Delaware Humane Society.
