Chicago federal Judge Sarah Ellis on Thursday guaranteed another histrionic conniption from Stephen Miller as the Sun-Times’s Jon Seidel reports that Ellis barred various uses of force by ICE against protestors and journalists “unless such force is objectively necessary to stop an immediate threat,” required calls for two warnings before using riot control weapons “at a sound level where the targeted individuals can reasonably hear it,” and agents must have identifiers “conspicuously displayed in two separate places,” and reiterated her bodycam requirement for street agents.
