“The head of the Wisconsin Elections Commission has officially confirmed the statewide results. Ann Jacobs completed the state-level determination Monday afternoon via teleconference. ‘This is a very different process than for the other contests on the Nov. 3 ballot where the WEC Chair does determine the winner and issues certificates of election,’ WEC Executive Director Meagan Wolfe said. ‘There is no certificate of election in a presidential contest.’ The move comes a day before Wisconsin’s full bipartisan Elections Commission will vote to certify the results. The deadline for that is noon Tuesday. The determination is then sent to Gov. Tony Evers, who will decide whether to approve the results” – WISN.
