Mellissa Carone, the witness in Rudy Giuliani’s Wednesday’s hearing with the Michigan House Oversight Committee who is taking social media by storm, might have wanted to cleanse her internet accounts before testifying.
The Michigan mother of two, who claimed to have personally witnessed election fraud without having any actual evidence of the fraud she claims, has tried her hand at modeling to gain fame before joining Rudy at the witness table.
While she claims to not have any more social media, she responded to multiple claims on social media that she was under the influence during her testimony. “Absolutely not!” she responded on her Twitter account–an account she claimed she had to delete before her testimony. Her Twitter account (@DominionCarone) was deactivated Thursday evening, but not after liking posts that compared her to Rocky Balboa.
Carone’s past criminal history has also arisen, including a 2019 arrest for First Degree Obscenity (which was dropped) and a charge of using computers to commit a crime, for which she received one year probation, according to the Daily Mail.
