As expected, the US Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that convicted felon President Trump cannot unilaterally decide to delete the birthright citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment, much less arbitrarily mandate an effective date for its end, thus closing the door for a future Dem president to sign an executive order going the other way and granting citizenship to whomever they want.
“Children born in the United States to parents unlawfully or temporarily present are ‘subject to the jurisdiction’ of the United States and are citizens at birth under the Fourteenth Amendment’s Citizenship Clause,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the opinion joined by Barrett, the three libs, and in part by Kavanaugh who filed an opinion “concurring in the judgment and dissenting in part.”
A Truth Social alert issued at 10:39 AM EDT celebrated that the court had earlier ruled that schools can ban biological males from playing girls’ sports. Can’t rain on that parade, no matter what, right?
