Six Republican Senators vote to reject Arizona electors

Six Republican Senators voted to uphold the objection to accepting the slate of electors from the state of Arizona, but the overwhelming number of Senators voted to turn down the objection presented by Texas Republican Senator Rafael “Ted” Cruz.

Cruz, Missouri’s Josh Hawley, Cindy Hyde-Smith of Mississippi, Roger Marshall of Kansas, John Kennedy of Louisiana and new Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama voted in support of the measure. The final vote was 93-6.
