Bill Belichick refuses Trump's Medal of Freedom

New England Patriot’s head coach Bill Belichick has refused the Presidential Medal of Freedom offered by Donald Trump, the Wall Street Journal reports.

An admitted friend of Trump, Belichick had previously agreed to receive the award a week ago, when Trump first told Belichick that he was awarding it to the coach. In an apparent rebuke of Trump, Belichick informed the White House that he no longer wanted to get the award from Trump.
