WATCH LIVE: NASA's Perseverance Mars mission landing

The Perseverance Mars Rover is scheduled to begin its entry into the planet’s atmosphere at around 3:45 p.m. ET (local Mars time unknown). Following “seven minutes of terror,” the rover will be lowered by a “sky crane” into the Jezero Crater, landing around 3:55 p.m. ET, with video of the event taken by the lander’s cameras coming back to Earth minutes later.
