Dunkin’, also known as Dunkin’ Donuts, announced Thursday that it will close 800 locations around the United States in what it describes as a “real estate portfolio rationalization,” CNN reports.
Approximately half of these locations are situated in Speedway convenience stores.
The count amounts to approximately 8% of the chain’s locations in the US. Dunkin’ said that these locations are low-performing, accounting for 2% of corporate revenues.
