Fox News host Trace Gallagher attempted to claim that an isolated road rage incident in Plymouth, Minnesota in which a driver shot and killed a local youth baseball coach was somehow connected to “defund the police” rhetoric, even though no police officer was involved in the incident.
Erik Fadden, the chief of the Plymouth, Minnesota police department, however, expertly pointed out that “there’s no one thing we can point to to explain the increase in violence” in his area. Fadden did, however, point to an increase in “street racing” leading to road rage confrontations, which shockingly isn’t connected to police reform.
