Poor Eduardo Morales. All he wanted was a beer. Or eight.
Bar staff kicked him out of the 278 South Bar & Grill in Hiram, Georgia after saying he was too intoxicated to serve. Rather than simply leaving the bar, Morales went to his Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck and grabbed a handgun, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The 34-year-old Morales drove his pickup toward the front door of the bar, firing his gun firing at staff and patrons through the front windows. He then drove through the front door of the tavern. He tried backing his truck out of the bar–which didn’t have a drive-thru before Morales created one–but he couldn’t get the truck unstuck.
Patrons and staff overpowered Morales as he tried to re-load the gun, pinning him to the ground until police arrived. No other shots were fired. And no one was seriously injured, although one was grazed by a bullet and another was hit twice by the vehicle.
