The OnlyFans patronage website, which hosts exclusive content from celebrities and sex workers for their subscribers, announced Thursday that it will ban sexually explicit content from its site, raising the question of who would use the site if it did that.
According to the Associated Press, OnlyFans will still host nudity, but it will release guidelines for content contributors that will detail the specific types of activities it will host. The announcement comes as OnlyFans attempts to diversify its offerings with OFTV, a planned network for fitness, cooking, comedy and music content developers.
OnlyFans reports having 130 million users and 2 million creators who have collectively earned $5 billion.
