The Food and Drug Administration is expected to give final, full approval to the coronavirus vaccine manufactured by Pfizer on Monday, paving the way for government entities, businesses and other organizations to require inoculations, the New York Times reports.
While most of the process is complete for the vaccine, which received an emergency use authorization May 10th, the tedious task of filling out the required paperwork will push the final review to Monday.
The approval was also anticipated, with the FDA having set a goal of Labor Day for the process to be complete. The Pentagon had already announced its intention to require vaccinations by the middle of September.
