Whatever your “giant robot” reference, the Japanese have made it one step closer to happening.
A 60-foot, 25-ton robot flexed its knees and fingers in its exercises as it warms up to takes its steps at the Gundam Factory in Yokohama. While this robot doesn’t have any function other than proving engineering concepts, it’s already become an attraction in the port city, and it could become a predecessor to advanced construction and shipping equipment.
