IGN: “While Dune was originally set to be released on HBO Max on October 22, the film will now release one day earlier on October 21 to match the Thursday night theatrical screenings. As with many films, the first showings for a Friday release date usually begin the Thursday night before, and now HBO Max subscribers will get to see Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel beginning on October 21 at 3pm PT/6pm ET.”
