Bannon in custody, hires Trump Impeachment 2.0 lawyer

“Trump impeachment lawyer David Schoen will serve as defense attorney for Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress case. Schoen has formally notified DC federal court clerk. Bannon appears in court later today” reports NBC Washington’s Scott MacFarlane.

Schoen famously met with Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, and other fanboy Republican Senators in the middle of Trump’s impeachment trial, which underscored how much of a joke the whole concept is.
