Sony PlayStation Vice President George Cacioppo was fired by the Japanese conglomerate’s video gaming division over the weekend after online vigilante group “People v Preds” filmed him coming to a house where he believed 15-year-old boy was waiting for him for a sexual encounter that had been arranged via gay male dating app Grindr, Kotaku reports. Cacioppo has not been arrested yet, and his criminal liability, if any, is unclear, though People v Preds did hand the footage to authorities for investigation. To our knowledge, “People v Preds” group is not affiliated in any way with QAnon, the online conspiracy cult that allegedly exposes pedophiles in positions of power.
