The House Capitol riot committee on Sunday published a 51-page criminal referral for Former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, a key section of which says Meadows emailed an unnamed individual about the events on January 6, saying “the National Guard would be present to ‘protect pro Trump people’ and that many more would be available on standby.”
