The House of Representatives will likely vote on the contempt of Congress referral from the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th attack on the Capitol for former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows.
The House Rules Committee will meet at 9 a.m. ET Tuesday to vote on the passage of the referral, which will then be sent to the full House, where the House will vote on sending the referral to the Department of Justice.
Earlier, a similar motion was sent to the DOJ for Steve Bannon, who will be tried on the case in July 2022.
