Airlines are still dealing with staff shortages caused by flight crew members calling in sick with the Omicron variant. Travel is also being complicated by a winter storm passing over the Midwestern states, that could dump as much as nine inches of snow in Chicago. The AP reports that as of Saturday afternoon there were over 2500 flights delayed or cancelled in the United States, and over 4300 flights delayed or cancelled worldwide.
