Former Trump White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham told the House January 6th Select Committee that the Orange Fat Bastard held a number of “secret meetings” in the White House residence are in the days leading up to the January 6th, 2021 “Stop the Steal” rally and the Capitol riot, the Guardian reports. Grisham told the panel the meetings were coordinated by former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Chief Usher Timothy Harleth, who had previously been the director of rooms at the Trump DC Hotel before he was brought into the White House. The Donald wanted to fire Harleth once he found the usher was seeking to stay on with the Bidens, but Melania intervened. Harleth was then promptly fired on January 20th after Biden was sworn in. Grisham indicated to the committee that Harleth and his staff would know much more about whom was invited into the God Emperor’s chambers to plan the insurrection.
Another important line of inquiry Grisham pointed to, per the Guardian, was Trump telling the crowd at the Ellipse rally that he’d be marching with them toward the Capitol, as he may have said so repeatedly in the speech to motivate the attack, even though he knew full well the Secret Service would not allow it. Secret Service records from the day of the attack would detail the internal discussions of how this pushback was handled and how quickly Trump acquiesced.
