The Kremlin says Russian dictator Vladimir Putin still plans to attend the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia in November, and doesn’t really see why he wouldn’t since it’s got nothing to do with their war on Ukraine, AFP reports. “It will depend on many things, including the Covid situation. But so far, yes. The intention is to come,” Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Lyudmila Vorobieva said to reporters Wednesday, adding that any effort to expel Russia from the G20 would be a “disproportionate” reaction to the bloody, unprovoked assault on a free country. The G7 international forum used to be the G8, until they expelled Russia in 2014 after it annexed Crimea.
