January 6th Committee refers Scavino, Navarro to Justice Dept. for contempt charges for refusing to comply with subpoenas

By a unanimous 9-0 vote, the House Select Committee investigation the January 6th domestic terrorist attack on Congress referred contempt of Congress charges to the Justice Department for Trump White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino and Trump advisor Peter Navarro.

Scavino was the Director of Social Media in Trump’s 2020 campaign and simultaneously Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications in the White House. Navarro was a Trump economic advisor who was an enthusiastic supporter of plans to overturn the 2020 election through any means possible.
