Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, once referred a person believed to be a foreign agent by White House security for a job in the White House during the Trump Administration, The Daily Beast reports.
Thomas would meet regularly with Donald Trump in the White House, giving him lists of people he should hire or fire based on who she and her associates thought were loyal or disloyal to Trump. Her meetings, many in the White House residence, would typically lead to Trump tirades about disloyalty, staff said.
The lists of recommendations from Thomas were dutifully sent to the Presidential Personnel Office, the White House office responsible for vetting potential presidential appointments. In one instance, Thomas suggested Trump hire a person suspected of being a foreign agent for a White House job.
