Three-toed swamp dweller and Crossfit mistress Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (Q-Georgia) used nearly $100,000 of campaign donations to purchase a luxury SUV from a Georgia car dealership, financial disclosure records show.
The vehicle, purchased from Riverside Buick GMC in Cartersville, is not specified, but the most expensive car on the dealership’s website is a 2022 GMC Yukon Denali XL for $83,620. Greene’s campaign wrote the check to the dealership on November 4th, 2021.
The money came from Greene’s reelection fund, meaning Greene spent about 3% of her cash on hand for the vehicle, presumably to drive around her district, which is the only thing campaign vehicles can do as they are purchased solely for the use of her campaign and not for public appearances for other candidates, which would fall under PAC activity.
Since the beginning of 2021, Greene has paid a conservative fundraising company Big Red Wall more than half a million dollars for campaign management, messaging and fundraising. According to the records, the campaign has also racked up more than $600,000 in credit card expenses, charges for which are not enumerated in the financial disclosure form.
According to campaign finance accountability website OpenSecrets.org, Greene has a little more than $3 million in cash on hand, while carrying more than half a million dollars in debts.
