Republican former Idaho state House Rep Aaron Von Ehlinger was sentenced to 20 years in state prison Wednesday after being convicted in April of raping a 19 year old legislative intern , ABC News reports. Von Ehlinger resigned in April 2021 after first being hit with charges in the case, which was made all the more heinous by a fellow scumbag Republican Priscilla Giddings leaking the name of the victim to a far-right extremist local politics blog with the implication she was lying.
