One of the two brothers suspected in Sunday’s mass stabbing in Saskatchewan that left ten dead and 18 injured was found dead Monday morning at the James Smith Cree Nation, the Washington Post reports.
Officials confirmed Monday afternoon that they found the body of 31-year-old Damien Sanderson, who apparently died due to homicide; police say there is evidence the fatal wounds were not self-inflicted.
The other suspect in the stabbings, which took place at 13 different locations at the James Smith Cree Nation and in nearby Weldon, 30-year-old Myles Sanderson, is believed to be in or around Regina.
