Florida wannabe sniper asks Cannon to recuse, citing Trump’s repeated public praise, opportunity for promotion

Lawyers representing Ryan Routh, the one-time Republican who was setting up a shot at corpulent target Donald Trump while the GOP candidate cheated at golf at his Palm Beach club, filed a motion request the judge overseeing the case, Aileen Cannon, to recuse herself because she’s been repeated praised by Trump and might gain a promotion if she rules against the defendant.

“Your Honor recently presided over that criminal case, and ultimately dismissed the case against Mr. Trump. Mr. Trump is the current Republican candidate for President in next month’s election. On the campaign trail, he has repeatedly praised Your Honor for her rulings in his case. As the alleged victim here, he has a significant stake in the outcome of this case too,” Routh’s lawyers write.

“Were he to become President in the future, he would have authority to nominate Your Honor to a federal judgeship on a higher court were a vacancy to arise. Taken together, these unprecedented facts and circumstances might create an appearance of partiality in the mind of the public. Accordingly, the Constitution and the federal recusal statute require Your Honor to recuse herself from this case.”

Chutkan opens door for evidence dump in DC case

Effectively saying the public’s interest in seeing the prosecution’s evidence in the criminal case is not impacted by the fact that the release will come just before a federal election, DC Federal Judge Tanya Chutkan ordered the release of information in Republican nominee and previously convicted felon Donald Trump.

“[…] Defendant claims that the ‘asymmetric release of charged allegations and related documents during early voting creates a concerning appearance of election interference,'” Chutkan wrote.  “There is undoubtedly a public interest in courts not inserting themselves into elections, or appearing to do so.  But litigation’s incidental effects on politics are not the same as a court’s intentional interference with them.

“As a result, it is in fact Defendant’s requested relief that risks undermining that public interest: If the court withheld information that the public otherwise had a right to access solely because of the potential political consequences of releasing it, that withholding could itself constitute—or appear to be—election interference. The court will therefore continue to keep political considerations out of its decision-making, rather than incorporating them as Defendant requests. Any argument about ‘what needs to happen before or shouldn’t happen before the election is not relevant here.'” [Citations removed.]

Federal court blocks DeSantis attempt to censor pro-choice ads

Saying that the ad constitutes political speech, “speech at the core of the First Amendment,” a federal judge blocked Republican Florida oversized jockey Ron DeSantis’s effort to ban ads from a private group advocating to pass Amendment 4, which protect abortion rights.

Andrew Pantazi of the Jacksonville Tribune reports the judge upheld Floridians Protecting Freedom right to buy television and radio advertising in the state which says that at any time, Republicans could repeal the ability for a woman to get an abortion.  Noting that the “State of Florida opposes Amendment 4 and has launched a taxpayer-funded campaign against it,” adding that DeSantis’s administration has already spent “millions of taxpayer dollars” in its effort to defeat the pro-choice amendment.

Trudeau: Kremlin-backed RT funds Tucker Carlson

In recently released videotaped testimony made under oath before Canada’s federal commission investigating foreign interference in the nation’s domestic affairs and elections, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau–who’s heard either via a translator from the spoken French or after inhaling helium–reports his administration found that Kremlin-linked media outlet RT funds far-right provocateurs like America’s own Tucker Carlson.

We’ve recently seen that RT is currently funding bloggers and other YouTube personalities of the right such as Jordan Peterson,” Trudeau testifies. “Other names that are well known:  Tucker Carlson, as well.”  The US State Department considers RT a part of Russia’s international intelligence network.

WATCH LIVE: Harris rallying with Mark Cuban for some reason

Vice President Kamala Harris is taking billionaire Mark Cuban on the road with her in Wisconsin on Thursday which… Ehhh… This is the response to Trump bringing Elon Musk on stage, right? It…

Whatever. Fine. Mark Cuban, ladies and gentlemen… As far as billionaires go we guess he’s probably among the least offensive. He’s no George Soros though… Soros is so based.

Harris team likes what they see in Michigan so far

In a memo obtained by CBS News, Vice President Kamala Harris’s team expects to “meet 2020 levels of support” with Black voters, citing high return rates of mail-in ballots among Black voters in Detroit’s Wayne County so far. No the goddamned memo isn’t linked, but we guess we just have to take CBS’s word for it on the optimistic tone. There is however also that TargetSmart shows 52,113 Black voters in the county have returned ballots so far, down just about 6,000 from Election Day minus 20 in 2020, a gap likely attributable to the fact that there’s no longer a pandemic.

Google to block political ads as soon as polls close on Election Day

Quasi-sovereign megacorporation Google will disallow political ads to run on its platforms the moment polls close on Election Day next month, Axios reports on an effort to preempt any false claims of wins, fundraising for “Stop the Steal” v2, or any similar democracy-subverting cuntery.

A spokesperson confirmed the policy, saying they were moving on it “out of an abundance of caution and to limit the potential for confusion, given the likelihood that votes will continue to be counted after Election Day,” and that it applies to any US election ads or ads that refer to US elections, their processes or outcomes. Facebook will implement similar rules even earlier, with all political ads banned during election week. Twitter owner Elon Musk did not comment for the story but if he did he probably would say “Mark Cuckerberg and Jew-gle are the real election interferers.”

Orange Felon demands Joe Biden be put back on ballot

“60 MINUTES SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY TAKEN OFF THE AIR – ELECTION INTERFERENCE. CBS SHOULD LOSE ITS LICENSE. THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCANDAL IN BROADCAST HISTORY. Kamala should be investigated and forced off the Campaign, and Joe Biden allowed to take back his rightful place (He got 14 Million Primary Votes, she got none!). THIS WHOLE SORDID AND FRAUDULENT EVENT IS A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY,” wrote convicted felon former President Trump in a Thursday shitpost continuing his meltdown over the 60 Minutes interview he pussied out of.

Hamas leader lost his will to live after seeing Trump polls

The facts speak for themselves: Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar lost his will to live after seeing what’s happening in the US presidential election, with President Trump surging in the polls, Polymarket now predicting an incredible 65 percent chance of him winning, and crazy Kamala Harris’s trainwreck of an interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier convinced Sinawar that there was no hope for him or his terrorist group to survive to fight Israel another day. So he gave up and let himself be shot dead.

No president has ever been a stronger ally to Israel and the Jews and if they don’t vote for him they should have their heads examined – especially after seeing this terrorist basically commit suicide in pure despair over the certainty of another Trump Administration. Sinawar knew that he would not get any more help from Iran – who will be broke again on January 20, 2025 because Trump will put 5,000 or even 10,000 percent tariffs on their shipments of guns and bombs to Hamas – since Kamala Harris will not be taking over the Oval Office from Hamas’s other great friend, Crooked Joe Biden.

Sinawar’s death is just one of so many incredible accomplishments that President Trump has already achieved before his return to the Oval Office: From Disney+ canceling that lesbian-themed Star Wars series to record stock market gains to lower gas prices to decreasing crime to plunging border crossings, it’s clear that his winning poll numbers are already having a positive effect on the world, despite the garbage leftist fake news media claiming he just danced to music on stage for 39 minutes when he was supposed to be answering questions at a town hall event in Pennsylvania.

National Zero will resume our regular coverage after this pitch for a Trump campaign press release on the de facto suicide by Hamas leader Yeahyeah Sinemax. We hope our MAGA readers enjoyed it.

Kenyan deputy president tries “too sick to be impeached” excuse

Running low on options to avoid testifying in his impeachment trial, Kenya Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Thursday tried the old “too sick to be impeached” excuse, and checked into a hospital in order to duck the angry senators who want him removed from office yesterday, the BBC reports.

“The sad reality is that the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya has been taken sick, very sick, and is… in hospital,” said Gachagua’s lawyer Paul Muite. The Senate rejected a proposal to extend the trial another few days and will continue without Gachagua present. The deputy president is facing removal over the usual corruption and bribery charges common to African politics.

Autocratic Apricot cancels next week’s speech at NRA confab

Continuing on his non-speaking tour of canceled public appearances and media engagements, Republican presidential nominee and convicted fraudster Donald Trump’s campaign announced he was canceling a planned speech at a National Rifle Association conference in Savannah, Georgia next Tuesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

No specific reason was given other than a generic “schedule conflict,” but neither Trump’s campaign schedule or his court docket have other events listed for October 22nd.  Trump canceling a campaign speech to a friendly audience in a battleground state

Hype over Black MAGA voters sees Trump at 8 percent in poll

A new Howard University survey of Black swing state voters finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump 84 to 8 percent, with the rest undecided, which is kind of close to the 90 to 8 percent margin President Joe Biden won the Black vote by in 2020.

But you know the Blacks love Trump because, um, he’s anti-immigration or something.

Nikki Haley records “lesser of two evils” robocall

“Hi, this is Nikki Haley calling on behalf of President Donald Trump’s campaign. I don’t agree with President Trump 100% of the time. You might not either. But we have a decision to make, and I’m looking at what we know about each candidate,” says either the former South Carolina governor or an artificial intelligence-generated simulacrum of her voice in a robocall, CNN reports.

Question to all the “KaMaLA wULdn’t oF gONe On CHaRLaMaGnE TeH g0d’S sHOw iF sHe wASn’t wuRRiEd Ab0uT tEh BLaCk v0tErs!” people: Why is Nikki Haley doing a robocall for the Orange God Emperor if Trump isn’t worried about her primary voters defecting to the veep’s campaign?

Team Orange begs court to delay evidence unsealing past election

Ahead of the expected unsealing of a large cache of evidence against convicted felon former President Trump in the DC coup attempt conspiracy case on Thursday afternoon, his piece of shit lawyers this morning begged circuit Judge Tanya Chutkan to push it back past Election Day, writing in a motion that “President Donald J Trump respectfully requests that the Court temporarily continue the stay of its October 10, 2024, Order through November 14, 2024, to allow for the concurrent filing of the parties’ respective immunity appendices. In support, President Trump states as follows:”

[About five pages of jargon and nonsense before they get to their actual motivation]

“Whether or not the Special Counsel is politically motivated, the asymmetric release of charged allegations and related documents during early voting creates a concerning appearance of election interference, as noted by recognized legal commentators with vast prosecutorial experience [they cite some douchebag’s New York Times op-ed] These concerns are particularly poignant given the incumbent Vice President’s targeted and ongoing, and false, use of these proceedings in election advertising [More citations from The Hill and other outlets]. Although the Court has decided, over President Trump’s objections, that the ”political consequences of these proceedings’ is not a cognizable legal prejudice,’ the Court has not addressed the public’s interest in ensuring that this case does not unduly interfere, or appear to interfere, with the ongoing election.”

“A temporary stay would serve that interest by ensuring that the redacted SA Appendix is accompanied by President Trump’s rebuttal, reducing (but again not eliminating) this case’s improper impact on the election, as well as the potential for voter confusion. Additionally, a stay would promote public confidence in the integrity of these proceedings and a court’s duty to remain apolitical.” Lol at these twats and their “the public’s interest in ensuring that this case does not unduly interfere” concern-signaling. Irony’s dead, you don’t need to keep desecrating its remains.
