The Nevada Democratic Party is expected on Thursday to file a lawsuit to kick brainwormed conspiracy theorist Robert F Kennedy Jr off the presidential ballot in November, arguing that his candidacy is invalid because he’s still a registered Democrat, the Nevada Independent reports.

It’s a surprisingly pretty clear-cut case, as the state’s electoral code defines an independent candidate as someone nominated for partisan office but “who is registered with no political party affiliation.” Additionally, state law governing how independent candidates qualify for the ballot includes a requirement that “a person may not file as an independent candidate if he or she is proposing to run as the candidate of a political party.” Obviously that second part is a little stretchy and does not say what’ll happen if Kennedy were to re-register as an independent, but that Brainworms is running on the We the People Party in Hawaii, New York and North Carolina, on the American Independent Party ticket in California, for the Natural Law Party in Michigan and the Reform Party in Florida, which would mean he’s technically in violation of that statute.

Kennedy is still currently trying to collect signatures for access to the ballot by the state’s July 5th deadline. He had to restart the petition twice: The first when he hadn’t yet picked crazy gold digger Nicole Shanahan as his running mate as Nevada requires a full ticket for independent ballot access, the second time his campaign misspelled “United States” on the petition paperwork.

These are dark times for our Nation, as Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao, as Politico reports her beautiful home was under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents on Thursday. Nothing like this has ever happened to a Mayor of Oakland before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on her house was not necessary or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want Thao to run for Mayor in 2026, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop her continuing to lead the city.

Sources tell the New York Times that last year US Southern District of Florida Chief Judge Cecilia M Altonaga and another federal jurist on the circuit approached MAGA Judge Aileen Cannon and asked her to give up now-convicted felon former President Trump’s sprawling classified documents theft indictment and hand it over to a more experienced judge who could actually handle it and Cannon, naturally, refused to do so. What made Cannon’s shitty lack of humility even more egregious is that a handoff would have allowed the case to be tried in Miami’s federal courthouse which is already equipped with a SCIF. Cannons home courthouse in Fort Pierce does not have one which cost American taxpayers God knows how much to build a new one in her rural alligator town.

Altonaga, a George W Bush appointee, had tried to appeal to whatever husk that remained of Cannon’s integrity by telling her it would be a bad look for her to be overseeing a criminal case concerning the fat orange fuck who had appointed her, especially after Cannon made all sorts of stupid moves in the lawsuit Trump filed against the government following the Mar-a-Lago raid.

Burkina Faso military junta leader Captain Ibrahim Traore on Thursday denied reports that his troops were mutinying against his regime, which itself was established in a troop mutiny in September 2022, having replaced a previous junta led by Lt Col Paul Henri Sandaogo Damiba that had been established after a January 2022 coup that overthrew the ostensibly democratically-elected President Roch Kabore, with Trarore assuring reporters everything’s cool between him and his men after as many as 100 were killed in fighting with Al-Qaeda linked militants, Reuters reports.

Trarore, who was speaking outside a state-run media TV studio in the capital city of Ouagadougou that had nearly been blown up by a missile last week, injuring three employees, assured reporters that the missile had been mistakenly fired by loyal troops who had been dispatched to protect the station’s employees after sporadic gunfire was heard in the vicinity. “It’s absolutely not the case. We are here. The incident happened while we were at the council of ministers,” Traore said about the gunfire, without explaining what the hell happened or who started shooting last Wednesday.

Former Florida Department of Law Enforcement Chief of Staff Shane Desguin on Thursday filed a lawsuit against heels-wearing Governor Ron DeSantis’s regime, alleging he was wrongfully forced into retirement for resisting unlawful orders including violations of state public records laws, illegal orders to arrest demonstrators without probable cause and directives to obtain photos and personal information of migrants flown to the Sunshine State without legal justification, ABC News reports.

“Despite his stellar work performance during his employment, [Desguin] was subjected to disparate treatment, different terms and conditions of employment, and held to a different standard because he reported Defendants’ malfeasance, gross misconduct and unlawful employment activities and was subject to retaliation thereafter,” the complaint filed in a Tallahassee state court alleges.

An El Paso, Texas-area man who bolted from his vehicle Tuesday during a traffic stop by police on I-10 successfully evaded arrest indefinitely after running away from the scene, KTSM reports.

The fat bastard then posted “All Biden can do is talk about his WEAPONIZED Witch Hunt Trials against me because his administration has been such a failure. Never happened in our Country before!” as if it’s somehow unfair for a candidate to campaign on his opponent’s criminal record or that Trump himself didn’t use Hillary Clinton’s (largely imaginary) criminal offenses against her like every goddamned minute of the 2016 campaign – and then less-successfully push a bunch of unsubstantiated “corruption” bullshit about Biden in the 2020 campaign too. Which Trump lost.

Form a Martin County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Facebook post: “Saturday evening, Wells Fargo Bank alarm monitoring service notified MCSO of a bank robbery in progress at the branch on US1 in Hobe Sound. It was around 7pm. The suspect, now identified as 33-year old Colton Van Hohenstien of Hobe Sound, was caught on gas station video purchasing a mask. He then went across the street to the Wells Fargo bank where he walked through the unlocked doors of the closed bank. The suspect began opening drawers and cabinets but they were empty, so he left. BACK TO MCSO: Dispatchers received the call from the bank security video monitoring system of a ‘bank robbery in-progress’, sighting a masked man inside the bank. MCSO immediately responded and surrounded the bank.”

“But no one was inside. Not even the suspect. The alarm company later notified us that they waited at least one hour before calling MCSO, and the masked man who left empty handed was long gone.”

“Because security footage clearly captured images of the suspect buying the mask used in this incident, he was located and arrested this afternoon. So it’s actually a three-way race between the suspect who would buy a mask across the street, the Wells Fargo branch who left their fucking front door unlocked (at least the vault wasn’t open), and the security monitoring company who tried to make it seem like they were on top of it when they very obviously were not. At least the sheriff’s office were able to find the asshole.

Wednesday brought a polling number Fox News fans were not hoping for from their own operation: Biden 50 percent to Trump 48 in a head-to-head, a 7 point net swing in Joe’s favor from March. That was the bad news the morning crew were breaking to viewers when they segued into more expectations management for next week’s big debate by uncritically para-quoting Trump’s claims that Biden will be “jacked up” on performance-enhancing drugs before he argues with a similarly aged man with far graver physical and mental health issues on live television for 90 minutes or so.

In related news, Brainwormed third-party candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr officially unqualified for the debate Thursday as he has not reached neither the minimum 15 percent support in at least four major national polls nor officially on the ballot in states totaling 270 electoral votes threshold.

Determining the actual winner of the Virginia 5th District Republican primary between incoming House Freedom Caucasians chair Congressman Bob Good and Trump-backed revenge challenger state Senator John McGuire could take weeks as sorting through provisional and late-arriving mail-in ballots is likely to expand to a full recount of the 63,000 or so cast, the Washington Post reports.

Per the AP, McGuire’s lead sits at 321 votes as of their last update at 5:56 PM EDT on Wednesday, just a slight gain for Good from the 327 vote deficit he faced that morning. Again, if 98 percent of votes have already been reported, the uncounted remainder is probably about 1,250 ballots, of which Good would have to win about 75 percent to overtake McGuire and win. Tough, but not impossible, and also assumes that they won’t be fighting on the margins down to single ballots.

Facing an absolute beatdown at the polls early next mont, the UK Conservative Party are moving to defend their most reliable seats, including the one held by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who personally is in danger of becoming the first premier to ever lose his seat, Bloomberg reports.

It’s easy to forget this but British prime ministers are just regular MPs selected by the party itself to lead the nation. This is how bad the situation is: Imagine if the Republicans became as unpopular as they deserve and Mike Johnson was in danger of losing his seat to a Dem in November.

Saying he was spending “too much time dealing with intra-party power struggles and local intra-party animosities,” the head of the Illinois Republican Party submitted his resignation on Wednesday, saying he would stay on until a new chair is elected, but no later than July 19th, the day after the end of the Republican National Convention in neighboring Wisconsin.

Rain and hail fell on Ruidoso, a village that was evacuated as two separate wildfires closed in on it earlier this week, giving firefighters some hope of bringing under control the blazes that have burned more than 23,000 acres, destroyed 1,400 structures and are blamed for the deaths of two people, CBS News reports.

Largely still uncontrolled, the South Fork Fire grew to 16,600 acres and the Salt Fire stood at 7,000 acres.  The 8,000 citizens of Ruidoso will remain under the evacuation order as officials check the area for spotfires and other dangers.
