The White House counsel’s office on Friday sent a letter to the chair of the House committee investigating the House January 6th Select Committee’s investigation greenlighting access to unredacted copies of interview transcripts with key Trump Administration officials whose testimony was considered too sensitive to be made public or to Congress thus far, Politico reports.

The statement doesn’t describe what was un-factual about the history courses on the era previously taught by the university system.

Powered by six solar-powered batteries, the four-pound machine landed on Mars with the Perseverance rover in February 2021, making 72 flights covering more than 10 linear miles and reaching a maximum speed of 24 mph.

A Republican National Committee spokesworm tells the National Review that it wasn’t Chairwoman Ronna Not-Romney’s idea to draft a resolution declaring disgraced former President Trump to be the party’s “presumptive nominee” for the 2024 election, as if Ronna herself didn’t just go on Fox News less than 24 hours ago to call on Nikki “Birdbrain” Haley to drop out of the race immediately.

“Resolutions, such as this one, are brought forward by members of the RNC. Chairwoman McDaniel doesn’t offer resolutions,” said spokeswiener Keith Schipper, adding “This will be taken up by the Resolutions Committee and they will decide whether to send this resolution to be voted on by the 168 RNC members at our annual meeting next week.” National Review’s article says that douchebag Trump 2016 deputy campaign manager David Bossie, now a Maryland RNC committeeman, was the one who introduced the resolution. Meaning Ronna picked the right guy to outsource this to.

Whoever’s idea it was matter less than how it will go when it gets in front of the committee’s 168 members next week. National Review doesn’t give the whip count, but writes that “The move came as a surprise to some RNC committee members, many of whom told National Review that they plan to vote against the draft resolution should it formally come up for consideration next week at the GOP’s Las Vegas meeting,” before quoting a handful who are opposed. Vince McMahon, the fake wrestling magnet whose wife was one of the longest-serving Cabinet officials of Donald Trump’s administration, was accused by a former WWE employee of sexual abuse and sex trafficking, saying McMahon demanded she perform sex acts on him, another WWE executive, and entertainers they were recruiting to be performers.

The woman, who worked as an assistant in the company’s legal department, names McMahon and former head of talent relations John Laurinaitis as defendants in a lawsuit claiming the abuse lasted for years.  The lawsuit filed by Janel Grant asserts that McMahon and Laurinaitis required Grant to perform sex acts with the men individually and together.

Grant states that the abuse began soon after she started working for WWE in 2019, while McMahon’s wife, Linda McMahon, was the head of the Small Business Administration during the Trump Administration.  She was one of the first Trump officials confirmed to her position, and she remained in the job until she resigned after the January 6th Republican-led domestic terrorist attack on Congress as Trump tried to subvert the Constitution.  Vince McMahon was forced out of leadership at WWE in June 2022 after it was disclosed the company paid millions to various victims of his sexual abuse.  (The story appears at Variety, but be warned:  there are some disturbing passages.)

Justice Department: “A federal jury today convicted a Michigan man for conspiring with others and defacing Temple Jacob, a Jewish synagogue in Hancock with swastikas and symbols associated with The Base, a multi-state, white supremacist group. Nathan Weeden, 23, of Houghton, was convicted of one count of conspiring to injure, oppress, threaten or intimidate any person in the exercise of their rights and one count of intentionally defacing, damaging or destroying religious property because of the race or ethnic characteristics of individuals associated with that property.
