Nathan Freihofer, an Army Second Lieutenant who is also considered a TikTok “influencer,” is being investigated by XVIII Airborne Corps after he made a post in which he made a Nazi salute.

While he claimed it was a joke, his military command finds it less amusing.
We are investigating reports of a Soldier assigned to XVIII Airborne Corps allegedly making vile remarks on a social media video. The statement made in the video is completely inconsistent with our values. We will review all facts and take appropriate action.

Other current and former members of the military also objected to the post, with the reporter who uncovered the video noting that he was informed of the TikTok by a current soldier who said. “My 97 year old WW2 veteran grandfather helped liberate Dachau and would even now knock this kid’s teeth in with ease. Such an individual has no place within our military.”
The commander needs to talk with him https://t.co/oGbWSZnL3g
