President Trump’s position on the Fortune 400 list of the world’s richest people plummeted 77 spots, barely maintaining a position on the list at #352, as his estimated wealth dropped from $3.1 billion to $2.5 billion, Reuters reports.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos–a regular target of Trump’s ire and threats–tops the list with a net worth of estimated around $200 billion. The aggregate wealth of the members of the list amounts to $3.2 trillion, or a little less than the GDP of Germany.
Eighteen people joined the list, including the CEO of Zoom, Eric Yuan, whose estimated net worth was listed at $18 billion, skyrocketing due to the adoption of his app due to the coronavirus.
Trump’s net worth is unverified and estimated due to the fact that the amount his properties are leveraged is unknown. His wealth is tied up in residential, office and resort properties, all of which has seen their values plummet as the coronavirus spreads.
