Former New Jersey governor and Trump advisor Chris Christie has checked into a hospital as a precautionary measure given his preexisting conditions, the Washington Post reports.
In consultation with my doctors, I checked myself into Morristown Medical Center this afternoon. While I am feeling good and only have mild symptoms, due to my history of asthma we decided this is an important precautionary measure.

Christie was one of hundreds of people who attended the Rose Garden event last Saturday for the White House introduction of Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett. No fewer than ten people who attended that event have tested positive for coronavirus.
