Truth Social Chief Technology Officer Josh Adams and Chief Product Officer Billy Boozer have quit their posts at the Trump Media and Technology Group after the clusterfuck of a launch for what was supposed to be a “game changer” social media app forecasted to have 81 million active users, Reuters reports. “If Josh has left… all bets are off,” a source told Reuters about Adams, describing his departure as a serious setback in what was already a complete mess.
Truth Social really sucks. It is bad, and this exodus at the top could be a death blow. We cannot emphasize enough about how much of a disappointment this has been for those of us eagerly anticipating the comedy of a fully realized Trump-centered social media platform. We’re probably not exaggerating when we say we’re more upset by this than Trump fanboys who are either pretending everything’s going to be fine or just not saying anything because they don’t want to look like “RINOs” by vocalizing their disappointment. We would so much rather be reporting on Sonic the Hedgehog porn memes flooding the platform than two right wing asshole tech bros leaving because they were set up to fail at their jobs.
