In a letter obtained by the New York Times, convicted felon former President Trump’s campaign counsel on Tuesday wrote to the heads of ABC, NBC and CBS calling their plans to carry President Joe Biden’s Oval Office address “a prime-time campaign commercial,” and cited FCC rules on fairness to demand “equal airtime” for the Orange God Emperor, based on the assumption that Biden will say something something to promote Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign.
“It appears that President Biden’s speech will not be a bona fide news event,” but a “campaign speech” wrote lawyer David Warrington in the letter. It’s not clear why these dipshits didn’t simply wait until after the address to see whether or not Biden does actually tell Americans to vote for Harris and then complain about any alleged violation of the FCC’s “equal time” rules.
What is clear however is how the fat bastard and his minions are acting like the rules apply to others when they can do whatever the fuck they want like using the White House for political events such as the 2020 RNC. Or are complaining in good faith to FEC about Harris’s campaign picking up financially where Biden’s left off while Trump uses donor money to pay Melania’s dress maker.
