From a Facebook post by the Hernando County, Florida Sheriff’s Office: “On 07-04-2025, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received information in regards to the possession of child pornography. The information was later assigned to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation. After investigation probable cause was established to support a search warrant for a residence on Argyll Drive in Spring Hill. On 09-26-2025, members of the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant at the aforementioned residence.”
“Upon executing the search warrant, contact was made with Jordan Joseph Williams DOB/08-11-1997. While speaking with Williams, he confirmed all account identifiers and confirmed he was the owner of the account in question. Williams later stated that he would use a popular social media site to access and view links of child pornography. While searching the residence multiple items of evidence were collected to include a childlike sex doll. When Williams was confronted with this information, he claimed it was a cheaper sex toy. Williams was a youth leader at VineLife Church in Brooksville. Williams was arrested and transported to the Hernando County Detention Center on the following charges: Possession of Child Pornography (35 Counts), Possession of a Child-Like Sex Doll (1 Count), Unlawful use of a Two-Way Communication Device (1 Count). NO BOND.”
Williams, a registered Republican and apparently a Harry Potter fan upset that a Black dude was cast in the upcoming HBO remake series as Severus Snape, who was played by now-deceased caucasian actor Alan Rickman in the 2001-2011 films, was quickly disavowed by the VineLife Church.
“This morning Hernando County Sherriff Al Nienhuis shared on social media about the arrest of Jordon [sic] Williams on multiple counts of child pornography. Jordon [sic] was further identified as the youth leader at Vinelife Church in downtown Brooksville. This situation is heartbreaking and deeply serious! We will cooperate fully with law enforcement in their investigation. Jordon [sic] Williams was not, and never was, an employee of Vinelife Church. He was a volunteer in the teen ministry with a current background check. Our priority is the safety and care of all people, especially children. As a church we have policies in place to protect our children, including background checks of all volunteers and employees, video cameras throughout the building, and rules about not being alone with minors,” the congregation’s social media team wrote in a Facebook post.
